Institutional Investments Relationship Manager
Denver based private equity fund is looking for an investor relations marketer. A successful candidate will have existing institutional client relationships and sales experience within the private equity or the hedge fund world. Candidate must have a track record of raising capital for private equity in last three years.
The candidate will develop and maintain relationships with institutional investors that specialize in private equity markets and real estate investments.
Job Description
Responsibilities of the private equity fund marketer include:
- Deepening client relationships
- Identifying new investor prospects
- Overseeing product education
- Writing/editing newsletters
- Compiling client reports
- Facilitating portfolio reviews
- Managing service provider relationships
- Creating marketing materials
- Completing prospect RFPs
Required Skills
- 3-5 years of corporate experience
- Experience working with a large and diverse client base including institutional clients, pension funds, high net worth individuals and family offices
- Finance/economics experience
- Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint
Desired Skills
- MBA and/or CFA
- Fund of fund experience
- Experience in investor relations or investing
- Experience in writing requests-for-proposals for prospective investors
- Knowledge of SEC regulations regarding Reg D marketing
